What are the benefits to me of listing on pre-approved.com.au?

Real Estate Agents prefer to deal with clients who have finance approved, as this is one of the most common reasons for sales contracts falling over. They will search the pre-approved.com.au site first before publicly listing a property and incurring expensive advertising costs. This way you get preferential treatment and possibly even access to new listings before these are made available to the greater public. At any one time, you may have several agents looking to find a property for you that matches your specified criteria, thus greatly enhancing the chances of you finding what you want, and saving you vast amounts of time and effort. In addition to this, your listing is provided entirely free of charge.

Are there any costs involved?

No. The service is provided to you entirely free as a value added service from your finance broker or lender.

Will my personal details be made available to people using the site?

No. At no time will any of your personal details be provided. E-mails will be sent to you via our website which keeps your personal information including your e-mail address confidential. Pre-approved.com.au will not share your details with any other agent or organization.

Will I be inundated with e-mails that don't match my criteria?

It is unlikely that you will receive e-mails that do not match your search criteria – an agent will need to pay in order to send an e-mail to you and would be wasting their time and money by sending you something that would not result in a potential sale for them. There would be no benefit to an agent sending you an e-mail if it did not match all or most of your criteria. Bear in mind though, that not all properties will offer an exact match, therefore please allow for some variation in property specs.

Do I have to respond to each e-mail that is sent to me?

It is entirely up to you whether or not you choose to respond to any e-mail you receive.

What do I do if I receive several e-mails from different agents all listing the same property?

You may choose which agent you would like to respond to, you may have had experiences whether good or bad with certain agents or companies and may prefer to contact certain ones only. This may also be an opportunity to see which agent offers you the best service.

How do I know if I'm dealing with a reputable Real Estate Agent or not?

All Real Estate Agents using the site are required to be registered with the relevant industry regulator or association relevant to their particular state.

How do I have my listing taken off the site or my search criteria amended?

Simply contact us or have your broker/lender contact us themselves with the amendment and we will action it within 24 hours.

Does my listing get removed automatically?

Two weeks prior to the finance pre-approval time elapsing (as noted on your form) the listing will automatically be removed. It can also be removed at any time prior by notification from yourself or your broker/lender. To re-list the pre-approval a new form will need to be submitted with new details.
